Body Measurements

Tops:

Under Bust - It is important to exhale when measuring your ribcage! This measurement is important if you wanted your suit to clasp in the back instead of tie. Most of our tops tie in the back, so this measurement is only necessary when ordering Scrunch Tube tops, or if you specify that you do NOT want your top to tie in the back.

Over Bust - Tape measure should wrap around above your chest and under your arms, starting in the back and meeting in the front. This measurement is most accurate when the tape measure is parallel to the floor all around and does not fall loose. Not too tight either! Tops that require this measurement are tops that do NOT tie in the back. Which in our case, are the Scrunch Tube tops, Sweetheart Tube tops and Bandeau tops.

Cross Breast - Measure your breast from the cleavage area to the outside. (Where it meets your armpit). Use your nipple as a center guide to know where to place your tape measure. If your breasts are enhanced or naturally perky, you may do this while standing up. If not, you should be wearing your best fitting, NON padded bra, and measure while laying down. This measurement is necessary for all type of tops, just to give us a clear picture of what size will be best for you.

Bust -Measure the fullest part of the breast. Make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor and does not fall too loose or snug too tight. This measurement is necessary for all types of tops, just to give us a clear picture of what size will be best for you.

Bottoms:

Torso - This measurement is only needed when asking for a one-piece suit. Measure the length of your body from your ribcage (under bust) to the crotch seam. (Not curving the tape measure at the seam)

Hips - Your hips are the wides part of your body. This may vary! For some, this may be the lower part of the stomach. Make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor all the way around and is not too loose or too snug. This measurement is required for every type of bottom when ordering a custom suit.

Front Height - Again, this measurement will vary upon desired height. Wear your favorite fitting underwear or swimsuit bottoms and measure from the crotch seam (curve the tape measure at the seam) to your desired height. If you are not wearing your favorite fitting bottoms, you can still measure this. Just add or subtract more inches to make it more of a high-rise/low-rise fit. This is the most important measurement and will be needed for every single bottom when ordering a custom suit!

Suit Line - The placement of where your suit 'sits' will vary for each individual as this is more of a preference. But still important! This is NOT your hips! We suggest putting on your favorite fitting underwear or swimsuit bottoms and measuring exactly where they 'sit'. This measurement is only required when ordering a bottom that does NOT tie. Such as our Lace Waist bottoms, Full-Back bottoms or Scrunch Boy-Short bottoms.

Please note that our sizes run smaller than average, with patterns that have less coverage than your typical bathing suit!
